Let’s Talk About Self Love
For a long time you have offered selfless acts of kindness towards others. You have delivered an exceptional amount of care for your family, friends, and colleagues. You pride yourself on going above and beyond the call of duty to make others happy. What have you done for yourself lately? It is time for you to take time out to care and love YOURself!
Self-preservation is believed to be the first law of nature but a lot of us are not caring enough for ourselves. I know first-hand what it is like to have a plethora of responsibilities, but I still find time to treat myself. Whether it is a mani, pedi, or a brief meditation moment, I often relax and recharge to care for myself. I have discovered that although doing good for others is always a nice gesture, doing the MOST good for yourself is what is most important!

All things SELF is what you should prioritize this week! This is what I call the SELF-CARE challenge!
- Self-Esteem: Cultivate a positive attitude! Avoid people, places, or things that contribute negative vibes.
- Self-Confidence: Forget about your past failures and focus on your future. Visualize where you wish to be and concentrate on setting yourself up to WIN!
- Self-Care: Take time away from your busy schedule to do something nice for YOU! Have dinner at your favorite restaurant. Round up your crew and spend a night out on the town!
- Self-Talk: Encourage yourself by speaking positive affirmations every morning over your day. Take an alternate route on the way home from work so you can speak those things that aren’t into existence out LOUD!
I am thoroughly enjoying the journey of discovering Danielle! As I balance being a wife and MOMprenuer, I am also a student learning to love myself.
