Last week, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole L. Hendrickson recognized July 9th as Level Up Day in Gwinnett County.
Level Up Day aims to promote progress and achievements and inspire people to unlock their true potential, set meaningful goals and take effective steps towards achieving them in their home, community and workplace.
Level Up Day was created by local author and filmmaker Danielle Tuwano, who sought to create a movement encouraging others to become better, learn new skills, and take new, daring chances.
Inspired by Danielle’s book Lights, Camera, #LevelUp, the level up movement highlights the many motivated and purpose-driven residents who fuel the Gwinnett spirit, making it a great place to live, work and play.
Throughout July, Danielle is partnering with various community organizations, initiatives, libraries and bookstores to host book signings, mentorship opportunities, personalized coaching sessions, and more in recognition of Level Up Day.
Join the level up movement on social by using the hashtag #levelupday to share and celebrate your progress and achievements.
Happy Level Up Day, Gwinnett County!
